Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch
Andres Neumann met Pina Bausch in 1977 during the Festival Mondial du Théâtre de Nancy (France). From that moment on he followed her work constantly. Their professional coopreation started 10 years later in 1986.
Andres Neumann has coproduced, in cooperation with three cities of two continents three of the many pieces created by Pina Bausch in her lifelong career: Palermo (1989), Rome (1999), and Santiago de Chile (2009).
Andres Neumann has also presented many productions from the repertory of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch in Italy and Southamerica for the last 30 years.
